Guest guest
So what does make for her meals? Would love to know!Spent 3 hours or so making meals yesterday, the usual eats. I'm always looking for new ideas!
Guest guest
Actually, from what I can see, nothing exciting! She made a turkey sandwhich today! But, I suppose there is something to be said about keeping it simple. On her breakfast DVD she did some eggs, oatmeal, French toast, cereal.... Guest guest
You got off to a great start today, Donna. **----- Reply message -----To: <exercisevideos >, <FitFirmies >Subject: Monday - 10 lb slimdown/WalkDate: Mon, Oct 10, 2011 10:59 am Hi Everyone!Maybe the weekend off gave me energy b/c this morning I woke before my alarm (and my alarm is set for 4:30) and I actually did not hit "snooze" or wait for my DH to get up! Today's workout was 10 lb slimdown lower body - this one always kills me! Can anyone use anything higher than 10's for it? I use mostly 8's and it kicks my butt. When she does the jumping squats I drop to 5's. UGH!Afterwards, I did the 3 Mile walk from the Walk,Eat, Lose System (Walmart - $28 version!) I actually am glad I got this set. I was kicking myself for awhile thinking I really didn't need another but this one is just different enough - w/ the use of the bands - to make it worth keeping. In the 3 miler you do one regular mile (4mph pace), one mile w/ the bands, and one faster (5mph pace) mile. is alone for the mile w/ thebands but in this one she has the "super moms" for miles 1 and 3. I know this sounds crazy, but I almost enjoy this more than the 5 Big Miles. I think it is the rapport has with the cast and the fact that the entire cast is just made up of "regular" people not fitness professionals. I think in 5 Big Miles she has some "regular" people but also some professionals there. I stretched out on on my own while I watched prepare lunches. (Each DVD has her preparing a week's worth of meals - the 2 mile workout - she makes breakfast, 3 miles - lunch and 4 miles - dinner). I also just have to say I connect w/ as a regular person. She just seems to have a good, sensible down to earth philosophy about eating and exercise that I can relate to. I like that about Freytag as well, and also Ellen Barrett. I really don't want to workout until I'm so exhausted and sore that I can't do anything and I don't want to watch my di*t to the point ofwhere life isn't fun. Balance in everything!Ok - that is my little preachy thing for today! Hope everyone has a nice Monday, Thanksgiving and/or Columbus Day!!!Donna
