I bought a Braun hand blender at Bed, Bath and Beyond a while back

that I use... (You can buy one just about anywhere though.)

http://www.braun.com/e/p/hh/hh_sm.htm

I just use a large 34 oz. cup and blend the shakes right in the cup!

It is very easy and the blender was less that $20 if I remember

correctly. It isn't nearly as noisy as a real blender, and it does a

good job, although it ususally leaves a little bit of the powder on

the sides of the cup that never quite gets blended in.

Actually I was gonna mention the hand blenders too. They look like a

blender on a stick and they fit in a cup.

Mervyns has them on sale for $9.99 right now. It's usually only about

$12.99 or so.

Or you could use a cocktail shaker and then make margaritas or martinis on

your free days.

Lenny,

I'm a school teacher and have always taken 2 shakes to work with me - one for 9:30 am and the other for 3:00 pm. I don't have much free time at school to blend shakes so I blend them at home in the morning and put them in Tupperware sippy things and keep them in the refrigerator at school. Below is a message Bill posted on another board about blending shakes early and how long they stay good.

Re: TO Mix or Not to Mix bflstyle2/6/00 3:14 pm It's fine to mix your shakes and keep them cool for up to 16 hours. They break down after that--nutritionally and taste wise.

As for taste, mine taste the same after 8 hours but they are not as thick as when I blended them. It's worked for me for 19 months now (minus the summers!).

Sara

Does anyone have any recommendations on a product/container/device that Icould use to mix a myoplex shake at work.

I bought a shaker cup from GNC that works nicely for mixing up your

shakes at work. It has measurements in fluid ozs. on the side too and

I use it for measuring out my water I use to mix my Creatine as well.

Works great!!!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to take a second and thank everyone for all the ideas.

I'm working at getting a tupperwear shaker right now. I will look

around the store for a rubbermaid type on as well.

As far as going to GNC, that will have to wait until my next trip to

the US (in October).

Hi Amy,

I'm located in Heidelberg, Germany (though I'm from the US).

The company I work for provides computer hardware, software, and

network technical services for the government and military worldwide.

Since all of my work involves the miltary, I am able to use the

military exchanges here in Germany and miltary postal system, so I

can still order things from the US fairly easy. The miltary

exchanges carry some of the EAS products as well.
