hI ALL,

Just in my humble opinion about this all..When wen were drinkin the

gts jazz we never got the huge baby's in our bottles. Now that we be

drinkin our own homebrew Bucha, our baby from a friend, it seems like

there is a mini baby in every bottle, gelatinous and clear, delicious

and slimy. So my position is this, GT must be usin somthin else cause

those bottle that sit on the shelves, while they may have chud in

them, there are no new culture scooby's formin and them bottles

probably sit on the shelves for a long time. I am amazed by how ours

produces these thing.s And we ferment our bucha for 2-4 weeks. Longer

even sometimes. So maybe it is a peculiar condition of our perticular

strain, our that our house is on the cool side up here in the New York

Fingerlakes region. But that stuff we have is lively and delicious. We

love bucha!! it is an amazing amalgamation of interspeciated love.

peace and praises to the bucha!!

Hrm... not my experience at all. We get SCOBYs in any GTs bottles that sit

around with any KT left in them, if left at room temp. GTs is shipped and

kept stored under refrigeration, so there tend to be fewer SCOBYs developed

in the store-bought product. However, let it sit at room temp and

definitely going to get SCOBYs in the bottle. Many people have this

experience.
