neurocardiogenic syncope in young male

Hi everyone!

I recently had a 21 y/o male come in inquiring about whether there are other

natural therapies for neurocardiogenic syncope. Evaluations by the cardiologist

and tilt test would reveal a very irregular heartrate that would be as low as in

the 20's (bpm), then skips a beat, then skyrockets to as high as 90 (bpm).

Recommendations by various cardiologists have been: avoiding triggers,

pacemaker, Zoloft, or blood pressure meds. He's not interested in using any

drugs. He is now wearing the Heartrak Smart monitor x 1 month. Apparently, the

dizziness and syncope began 3 years ago around the same time his IBS sxs

started. IBS sxs have resolved since working with me over the past couple

months.

Triggers include: sudden stopping after a hard run or strenous exercise, stress,

particularly during the college years, and quickly standing upright from a

laying position . He says he's always had cold hands and feet and suffers from

erectile dysfunction. Prodromal sxs prior to fainting may include buzzing in the

body, vision changes (sees colored spots). Both his IBS symptoms and feeling

cold often is helped with running, his favorite physical activity.

Any thoughts or advise would be much appreciated!
