Guest guest
hi ken! i have been deluged with migraines lately, and haven;t beenable to function, let alone be on the computer. i really had to comment about these coling pads. they are an improvement over baggies in that they don't DRIP!!!!! > Self-adhering cooling pads designed to manage > migraine pain are now available in Canada. > > Amazing that we are inventing cooling pads! What > ever happened to the age old ice pack, or for that matter, the baggie with ice cubes? THe other thing is the weight of an ice pack and trying to hold it in place and work at the same time. what amazes me is the number of people who refuse to do the one thing that really helps; GO TO BED and try to relax and sleep, with appropriate meds, of course. the sad fact is that we NEED to work to support the meds needed to stop the migraine! i have tried these pads and didn't find them to be that helpful, though. the new cooling pads for kids when they have a fever may help more. i find that i need intense pressure on the throbbing point to really help. i tie a scarf with a know in it as tight as possible around ny head; the knot is put on the worst area of throbbing. then my sunglasses complete the ensemble...lololol it is a sight even my neighbors have become familiar with; not a fashion statement, but a FUNCTION reality. i have to agree with the arthritis study...DUH; if i could sleep i would sleep better andvice versa!!!what idiot came to this conclusion ??? isn't this the truth about All pain?????!!!!! ===== My Reality Check bounced.
