Guest guest
Hi everyone, Well, I'm definitely a bandster now, with 1.2 ml in my 4 ml band. He (Dr Cheng) put in 1.5 ml, but the barium I had didn't pass, so he took out .3ml. It was OK, and I'm happy that we're on the same wavelength (ie. taking it conservatively). Loss- .6 kg since last weigh-in, which isn't bad since I haven't been back to Curves and I've been into the crackers with pate or liverwurst/ brie/ avocado/ olive paste followed by a choc thing. And so far, my well-chewed lunch is not being nice to me (it's slowly going down), so there's another lesson learned. I really have to get a grip! Thanks for the update Nx, on the lunch and for the words of soothing wisdom: , glad to hear things are going to get better,; Libby, things wil get better soon; Mazz, boy, you really cop it in the lung department, poor thing; Bev, have you ever considered upping the calcium - this is your second break of late, no?....... Hugs to you all, (A)
Guest guest
Dear , Glad to hear that the fill went well! I'm looking forward to my second fill and am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it will provide me with some restriction. At the present i haven't really got much and am starting to lose the battle with the food monster again, particularly the pasta monster. Libby New Message Search Find the message you want faster. Guest guest
Hi , I was at Ashfield see Dr Cheng & dietian from 10-11.40 this morning. It's a shame we didn't coordinate it better. It would have been great to see you. You mentioned your -well-chewed lunch is not being nice to me- I have always been told that after a fill you should stick to fluids for 24hrs then onto mush. Just to let things settle and for the swelling to go down after the fill. Glad to hear that you are loosing weight and all it going well. Keep up the good work. When is your next appointment? Mine is 21Aug Cheers B
Guest guest
Hi , Yeah, fluids- I know, but I was HU*NGRY (I chewed so well, it was fluidy!!!!!!!) I've learned my lesson- I only managed a few mouthfuls, and am Ok now. It's soup at most for me for dinner. Now- as for 21 August, I'm in at 9.00 to see Dr C. for fill #2. How does that go for you? Cheers, M(A)
