Guest guest
When my daughter ws young (under3)she too got diaper rashes that would not go away and it started to bleed. She now has scarring from it because it was sooo bad(She's 8 now)The one thing that finally hepled though was nystatin cream. It seemed yeast was the culprit. A few years later she had to be on antibiotics and it gave her thrush in her mouth(yeast again). The doc gave her oral nystatin. The week she was on the oral nystatin was the best week she ever had! More concentration, focus, less agressiveness, even trying to communicate. She didn't have any tantrums! Well once off the nystatin-back to her old self. Months later I called the doc and said she had thrush again, just so I could experiment with the nystatin. Well, same results. I was just thinking about the " yeast connection " . The doc won't prescribe it for her long-term though...even though it has no side effects! I told her how about worrying about the rispiridal she prescibed and not the nystatin. I really believe-no I know the nystatin helped her-now I need to find someone who will prescribe it for her. Sorry to go on, but I wondered if anyone else has had the same experience. Thanks.
