Hi all,

First posting for me. I have an 11.5y FS sheltie who was formerly an agility dog. She had to discontinue agility training 3.5 years ago due to DJD of the right metatarsophalangeal joints. She now walks on calluses that have formed caudal to the tarsal pad with her toes in the air. The calluses also have ulcerative lesions on them. She has been seen by the orthopedic surgeon here 3 years ago and they started her on Previcox at that time. She has seemed comfortable until recently. Now, she lays more than she walks, but is always still willing to try any agility equipment (mom does not allow her to though). Any thoughts on possible solutions such as orthotics or anything.
