It would do for all the members to review the TOS of Yahoo from time to time to keep updated on what is acceptable for members. The lastest situation was a violation of TOS, and did not stop when asked by the Owner of this group and two moderators. The individual was warned and did not respond to our pleas, except to continue in the same course of action he had previously taken. Here is a the portion of the TOS that he violated. Guest guest
To Chefboy: Let's see....over the past two days, I have been called not just a liberal (plus a few choice words),and a know-it-all, but also (at another forum)destructive, a back stabber, forum ripper, I turn friends against one another, halt the progress of those infected, or who were infected, and every word I say is false. Guest guest
I would also suggest that we have weekly facilitators (or a round robin of facilitators) so it's not always up to one person to be in charge.. Let me know when and where! 9PM or later is also better for me. (unless you can all just upload a discussion into my brain) Corinna
Guest guest
Hi all I am interested in this but think realistically we should either try to set up a new yahoo group, or maybe a facebook group. I would be glad to help moderate either one of these. The problem with a live call is the time zone and schedule issue which makes it so difficult to coordinate, and I also think it would be difficult to find a service that would be free for several of us to call into. I am not sure if skype allows conference calling with high numbers of attendess for free or not- of someone knows that let me know. The problem still is that I am on the west coast and am not home until 7:30pm most nights during the week, and that is just too late for the midwest and east coast people. Anyway, thoughts on this? Thanks Anne Subject: Discussion group To: insideoutweightloss Date: Tuesday, February 17, 2009, 2:57 PM I would also suggest that we have weekly facilitators (or a round robin of facilitators) so it's not always up to one person to be in charge..
