Zoloft

Hi, all,

I have a question for the parents of kids who are or have been on Zoloft. My DD

has been on 50 mg now for almost two weeks; the plan is to move her up to 75

this weekend.

I'm wondering what is a ballpark therapeutic range for a 14 yr old, about 125

lbs? I know it's different for everyone, but right now I feel we're stabbing in

the dark.

She's actually been a little worse on the 50; is this common to get worse before

it gets better? She's also complained of a feeling of not being able to

concentrate; is this a side effect? She's NEVER mentioned anything like this

before, so I assume it must be the Zoloft, right? Does this mean we should

switch meds or continue to give it a try?
