Guest guest
I was just thinking about a successful gift I gave my mother this past Christmas. If you know of places that take your photos and copy them onto T-shirts or coffee mugs - this is what I did. I brought a plain white pillow case and requested a family portrait be copied onto the pillow case. My mother has this pillow on her bed at the nursing home. And if she wants - she can hug her entire family at one time if noone is there. Just thought I'd share the idea with others who are wondering what to buy their LO who doesn't have space or need for things... The other gift I buy that has been a tradition for a number of years now - is a calendar using family pictures for each month. The place I get it done even puts family birthdays onto the calendar itself. It has a dual purpose now - a regular calendar and a " photo album " of sorts with large images that mom looks through with those at the nursing home. The cost is just $25 - at least the copy place I go to charges just $25. ; loving daughter of Maureen of Boston, MA; finally diagnosed with LBD on 2/06 after also being diagnosed with everything from AD to Vascular Dementia caused by mini strokes to Binswengers...; was victim to rapid progression from Risperidone (or combination of Risperidone with other drugs OR possibly received another " bad drug " when she was observed/tested in a hospital in 10/05); in a NH since 11/05.
