Is it the same but just a different name?? Just wondering. I take MSIR 30 mg for my breakthru med, and Kadian 100mg, two times a day, sustained released caps. This combo works very well for me, and Soma for my muscle relaxer. well, just wondering if Opana was like Msir thanks. denise

If your breathing is depressed, you should seek your doctors immediately. Anytime you feel winded is cause for concern. I think thought they would start people on low doses of narcotics before raising them so people get a feel for what it will do to them. Guest guest
Rose, I can sure vouch for this. I take a lot of Morphine and I want to the ER just a bit ago and I am on the verge of an obstruction due to the Morphine. I'm just drank a bottle of Magnesium Citrate. So far it's not really working. I have to drink another bottle in 2 hrs, if it doesn't work, I get to go in the hospital and get the NG tube in my nose -Tommie Re: OPANA? all narcotics have serious side effects although u may not have any u must be aware .. depressing breathing.. constipation leading to bowel blockage and Im sure several others Rose
