I agree with Beau on this.

Often alternative medicine is a double edge sword.

The downside is there are no " standards " for comparisons.

Too often " standards " lead away from real foods or

alternative health recipes that would allow folks to restore

health, and at best (intentionally) confuse the issue.

IMO, I would be wary of blanket statements, of one size fits

all. The individual (overall health, constitution and

present circumstances) which are often disregarded in

allopathic medicine are a key integral to alternative

medicine practices.

Consider all opinions, and be as close to nature as

possible. Above all don't stress.

IMO,the Weston A. Price Foundation is an excellent source of

information.

Amazing the healing power of foods.

Sources, processing and storage are often the determining

factors regarding

the health advantages/disadvantages of any given oil.. Cold

extraction and

storage mainly.

There are many different grades of coconut oil, cold

pressed/extracted

virgin being the best (and most expensive of course)..

Rancid fats/oils are terrible for the body and are worse

than none at all..

Some go rancid immediately and so should only be consumed

in the food that

they originated from.. Others are much more stable like

olive oil..

Draw your own conclusions on all of this, I don't use

coconut oil simply

because I don't know who to trust (and I'm doing fine

without it LOL...

Take Care,

Beau
