Guest guest
Dear everyone, I have only been brewing KT for a month or so and am really enjoying the process, the drinking of it and reading all the information you offer on this list - so a big thank you. I have a few queries that I would love to have answered when possible: I started gradually, but now drink three smallish glasses a day - is that about the maximum that is felt to be good for us - I could easily drink more, but wonder if it is possible to get a little bit hooked?? Is too much caffeine a worry, particularly if ordinary tea is drunk as well? My teenage son has longstanding health and digestive problems - multiple food intolerances, very thin, tired, don't think he detoxes very well as he looks/feels ghastly when he plays sport and reacts quite dramatically to even gentle approaches such as homeopathy, shiatsu etc. We seem to have tried just about everything but cannot get him well, so I wonder whether it is safe to try him on KT? Any advice would be so much appreciated - if this is felt to be going off topic please let me know. I have to be careful not to let my enthusiasm for Kombucha to run away with me, but was also wondering about my father - quite elderly now, struggling more and more with mobility as had polio as a child, memory not quite so good. He cannot move very fast and I think any diuretic effect would be a problem - would this be less so if the Manna drops were taken instead of the tea itself? (He is already on medication for high BP ) Please don't feel obliged to answer all these! I live in Devon, in the SW of England and have a couple of babies I would be happy to pass on but would need advice on how to package them safely. With very best wishes to you all,
