Zithromax Pulsing?

I am not sure if anyone can answer my question, but I thought I would

ask anyway.

When I was at the doctor's office the other day, she gave me a Rx for

Zithromax and told me the best way might be to pulse the dose. She

explained it at the time and I thought that I had gotten it, but now

am in a state of confusion (happens a lot these days). I have 5

tablets of generic Zithromax and am not sure how to do this. I know

that when you take 5 days worth, it really lasts for 10 due to the

half life.

How exactly would you " pulse " this? Any clues?
