End stage patients vary and in some cases can be

reversed. Speaking without any authority I should think

yellowing of skin and " whites " of the eye, swollen abdomen

(ascites with fluid retention enough to cause breathing to

be labored), throwing up blood (from varices), coma

(encephalopathy).

Doctors have treatments that will reverse these. I

myself

went into a coma two years ago, came out of it in two

days, and have been alert ever since.

My sister has experienced all those symptoms. She

has been rejectd as a possible rceipent for liver

transpaltation. Currently she is bed ridden and in and out of the

hospital every week or so. She seems especially bad right

now and I know she will not be here much longer. Our

father died of cirrhosis in 1969 but was severe drinker.

She has NASH.

low, all other tests are bad numbers. Her encapathlopy

has her so confused that I can talk to her on the

phone and after we hang up she doesnt remember talking

to me. She does know who i am when with her and all

other family members also. her overall health is not

good. heart attack ,triple bypass, uterian cancer, two

major strokes and a minor stroke. She now is trembling

and her fingers and feet are numb and tingling. she

saw her doctor yesterday and he changed some of her

meds so maybe we will see improvement.
thank you
