That is wonderful you and your friend motivate each other to do it instead of to not do it, which is what I'd be much more tempted to do on very cold days! :-) Friday - Firm Express Cardio & Sculpt, bike and stretch Hi Everyone,Today was Ignite - Cardio & Sculpt. I upped my weights from last time and it felt good! I'm going to do the Ignite cycle again next week and then move on to the next cycle. This rotation is very do-able for me and I think I can make it the full 90 days (I think that is how it works out - 4 cycles 3 weeks per cycle). There are enough "free" days in there to keep things interesting for me. I'm also mildy sore from doing O'Brien's workout yesterday. I was surprised because it didn't feel like I would be sore while I was working out and i went pretty light on the weights. However, doing un-weighted lower body work often does make me sore b/c I use more range of motion (my guess anyway)After Ignite I decided to give the bike a spin for 15 minutes - which went well. Then, I added on 15 min of Classical Stretch doing the standing portion of the Standing & Floorwork program on the 30 Min Express DVD. I am tight and I need to do more CS! I'm recording episodes again since they are back. That should help me to keep on track with doing it more regularly. For some reason the stretching in CS works better than anything else for me. My friend and I are doing our long walk this morning - it will be extra cold, but I'm glad we have each other motivate ourselves into doing this. Since we both have the day off for MLK Day on Monday we're planning another walk for Monday. It is really nice to walk w/ someone - therapy and walking/exercise all in one. Guest guest Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 You know, 10 years ago I was very into group exercise at the gym but now that I have Studio LouLou I don't miss it at all. I don't even miss teaching there that much. I used to have people over to work out with me but as snobby as this may sound I think in some ways it brought me down, I would do beginnerish workout to suit their needs but my body needs something more advanced. I'm not doing that anymore. You can join me, fine, but you better step up to the plate! I am with Noel til 2/17. After that my rotation will be on the more advanced side:M kettlebellsT insanity W OFFTh kettlebellsF Body Pump or Jari LoveS Running - longer run Sn OFF and then some shorter runs during the week during my lunch hour if knee and hip are okay with it.
