A descriptive word.....

Hi all,

A very good friend of mine with whom I stuck it out until she " got " it

suggested I use the word AVERSION when attempting to describe this

condition to someone. I mean it might work with some individuals that

are not cruel and insensitive.

I did want to share that I have recently located to Arkansas from

California. Wow what a difference! It is a much slower pace of life,

as I am living strictly in the country now, instead of country

suburbs. No more noisy neighbors!! Woohoo!! Unfortunately there are

lots of gum chewers here and I have had some really uncomfortable

moments with my realtor and some post office employees, but I managed

to get through them without losing it.

For the most part, though, people here are friendly and helpful but

not super nosy and pushy. I really like the slower pace and the peace

and quiet. I can always leave or wear my ear plugs like I did in

California, but now I don't feel like a prisoner in my own home

because of my rude neighbors of old and their sub-woofer torture.

What a relief!
