I agree! My boys acquired language after the ages of 3 and 4 and therefore are medically diagnosed as Au/PDD and not Au/ Aspergers. My second son was R/O for Full Blown Autism and I very proud of his progress also!

I only recently learned through my daughter's doctor that you can graduate through the spectrum as your symptoms become managed. Which oddly insulted me. She had classic Autism from birth, to now call her symptoms PDD seemed to degrade what we have been through. Silly, I know but I still thought it.
