Sally,

OK, obviously I didn't get this recipe.

I have a bunch of sour yet hard chickpeas. If I pinch

one hard it will split into two and fly across the

room- but they defintely aren't what I'd think of as

edible yet- and since I'm only going to be frying them

for a short period of time, I haveing a hard time

believing they'll be digestible.

Were they supposed to be cooked first??? The recipe

just says 2 cups chickpeas- it doesn't say 2 cups

basic chickpeas, p. 505

Please LMK so I can figure out what to do with all

these peas- I ambitiously thought I'd make a triple

batch and freeze 2/3 of the dough so I have a *lot,*

and a lot of parsley that will go bad soon.
