Guest guest
couple things to check...first are you doing stretches before and/or after you walk? Are you drinking enough water? and how is your vitamin c? sometimes lack of it will cause cramps. the water is a big one...if I do not get enough water especially when hiking I get a lot of foot and leg cramps. Guest guest
YW! I have a sixteen ounce bottle I carry with me at home...doing regular activity I know I need 8 to 10 8oz glasses of water a day so I just mark how many times I fill the bottle and when I reach 4 or 5 marks I know I have drunk enough. The first week or so I had to pee constantly, but my body has adjusted and accepts the water quite well. Jane
Guest guest
Beth... This may seem strange but I read this in a medical column, and it works! Put a bar of soap under the foot of your bottom sheet. Sleep as you would normally. No cramps!! They don't know why this works but it does. My husband and I haven't had any leg or foot cramps since we did it. He laughed at me when I told him, but he isn't laughing now....LOL Maggie I am having foot cramping...especially in the morning before I wake up...also my feet are sore all day...I walk with good shoes, also have heel inserts inside...anyone out there have any tips for why my feet are cramping and sore? I walk about 3 miles a day...Beth
Guest guest
Beth... You put it under the sheet. Good luck !! I'll tell my husband about the grapefruit. Maggie Maggie - I will try it...do I put it under the sheet or just under the foot with my regular covers then over my foot? LOL...gotta do this right...lol I put a grapefruit on my battery once to start my car...that worked too...so I will try anything...the universe works in mysterious ways... I walk about 3 miles a day...Beth Beth: I have had lots of feet and leg cramps. I would mix 1/4 tsp lite salt and 1/4 tsp regular salt in a glass of water. After drinking this the cramps were gone within minutes. Recently I started taking these supplements daily and have not needed the salt. MAGNESIUM 533mg, ZINC 20 mg, CALCIUM 666mg. My doctor prescribed QUININE SULFATE 325mg. But I have only had it two days. So don't know how much help it is, yet. Good luck to you. Cramps are bad!!!! Guest guest
I used to have a similar problem, but I found out it was not the skin that was the problem, but that I was pulling tendons & ligaments because I wasnt getting enough arch support. It would leave me with this burning and almost itching sensation under my arch because everything was stressed. It may not be the same case with you, but it's a slight possibility.... laurie in portland > > Beth: > I have a very sensitive skin..... and when I walk more than usual I feel my foot (the plants) burning..... literally. My doctor made me many suggestions, prescripted lotions, (fur lamb plantillas?), 100% cotton fine socks.... nothing really solved the problem. > But... a method that results helpfull to me... to my feet, is to put my foot into warm water (soak? remojo?) with one or two tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate... 15 minutes or so... > Try it... every time your foot feel tired or sore of walking!! > Saludos!! > > > __________________________________________________ > Correo Yahoo! > Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis! > ¡Abrí tu cuenta ya! - http://correo.yahoo.com.ar >
Guest guest
on the balls of your feet or the tips of your toes? i had one pair of shoes that wasnt quite right, and it sure made the balls of my feet hurt. Also, i cannot wear heals without the same pain. sounds like it could be friction... I hope you can find out what it is. I'm glad the foot soaks are working for you. i hope someone here can help with more insight! best wishes laurie in portland > > > > Beth: > > I have a very sensitive skin..... and when I walk more than usual > I feel my foot (the plants) burning..... literally.
