I work with polo horses and have many friends from Argentina, actually my ex-husband is from Argentina. My son and I visited there about a year and a half ago. I can't wait to go back. I have especially high admiration for anyone who can learn English as a second language. English is tough. I wish I knew Spanish half as well as you know English! Como le decía a Mona, yo realmente AMO el inglés, pero tengo muy pocas oportunidades de practicarlo. El agotamiento que me produce pensar y escribir en inglés no sería nada en comparación con el terror que tengo de cometer errores. Nota al margen: tal vez el mismo perfeccionismo sea el que nos lleva a muchos a permanecer gordos y no encontrar la manera de resolverlo. ¿Así que viviste en Buenos Aires? ¿Cuánto tiempo? Yo hace 30 años que vivo en Villa Gesell, hermoso y pintoresco pueblito a orillas del Atlántico... y hace más de 20 que trabajo en Hoteles. Así que ambos estamos emparentados con el Turismo...... contame què hacès exactamente.... me encanta el tema!! Me llama la atención cuando alguien quiere mudarse a la Argentina, cuando taaantos argentinos se han ido y están yèndose.... Me alegro de que estés "in good shape"... yo gracias a todo esto que estoy leyendo empecé a caminar..... iré progresando hasta llegar a los 5km diarios, que es una buena cantidad de ejercicio para una viejita gorda como yo..... I for one don't speak much Spanish for the same reason, no opportunity to practice! Funny tho, when in the environment where it is spoken it starts coming back! It's a pleasure to find Argentina's friends, although we have a pretty bad reputation in the rest of the world.
