I have checked my mail several times today,

very few notes, to my dismay.

Come and talk to me my dear,

before I shed this little tear.

Nine of ten days I have walked,

perhaps instead I should have talked.

Whatever you are doing, whoever you are,

I hope your good expectations were exceeded my far.
