Vitex 1)'may interfere with the efficacy of birth control pills, progesterone drugs or HRT due to its hormone regulating activity (speculative) 2) dopamine antagonists may be weakened(speculative) due to its dopaminergic effects(in animals) as shown by the antagonism of haloperidol to the dopamine-induced prolactin inhibition caused by the ethanolic extract (in vitro) The only other cautions in this book are for pregnancy and breast feeding.
