Guest guest
I wonder if I ended up with a Blendtech that was not working as it should. My experience was that it doesn't use a tamper to push things down, it is supposed to draw it down on it's own. That didn't happen. That was a problem because I had to keep stopping it, push things around and I never had to do that with the Vita Mix. Then they said nothing would splatter out of the top because of the drawing power of it. That didn't prove to be true either. They also showed how you could make this ice cream and hold it upside down, failed again. As far as longevity I have no idea because I returned it within days. I wasn't fond of the settings either as it decided how long something should be churned up for and at what speed. My sister caters, has a VitaMix and says she hears nothing but great things about it. Maybe the one I had was a dog, or maybe I am brutal on the poor machine, with no rest for the weary. I really put it through the wringer. Guess it is like everything else, different things appeal to different people. Perhaps, if I had kept it longer I would have grown to appreciate it. Whatever you buy, with Lyme tearing away at a person, I would venture to say juicers or blenders are a great way to eat nutritious food.
