Guest guest
hahaha...God bless you my sister. Yes...skinny dipping is freeing and alot of fun. I was once at the lake with some friends...it was dark so I waded out into the lake and managed to get my suit off. It was wonderful. I felt one with nature. Suddenly something bit me softly on my leg...I screamed and was struggling to get my suit back on under water and get out of the water before it bit me again. Everyone was gathering around and asking if I was ok. I said I thought a fish had bitten me. I went over to the bonfire to see if it had left a mark. Sure enough there was a small red mark on my leg. Just then a friend walked up with and said he found a dead fish that washed up on the beach. It was a long time before I lived down that a fish bit me and died....LOL Maggie W: That sounds sooo wonderful - floating all alone in the dark looking up at the stars.I'm going to tell something that I would like to do. Some of you might think I'm TERRIBLY wicked for saying this. BUT I don't feel that it's wrong or I wouldn't say it. I'm a Christian BUT that doesn't mean I am a STICK IN THE MUD - As long as I BELIEVE IN GOD - I BELIEVE THAT HE CREATED EACH AND EVERYONE OF US AS A UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL. EVEN IDENTICAL TWINS HAVE THEIR OWN UNIQUE DNA'S (or whatever that is called). I BELIEVE THAT HE SENT HIS SON, JESUS, TO DIE FOR ME AND EVERYONE ELSE, FOR FORGIVENESS OF MY/OUR SINS. I BELIEVE the Bible and try to live my life as a Christian. I'm not perfect at it but I keep trying. That being said, ---- I think it would be fun to go floating in a pool in the moonlight with no clothes on - BY MYSELF - AND KNOW THAT I WAS COMPLETELY ALONE. I think it would be so relaxing and uninhibited. --- THERE - I said it - and I don't FEEL that I said anything lewd or sinful. After all, I'm 72 years old and I'm not out to entertain anybody - HA. Guest guest
Shirley.... You made me laugh with this one....an outright chuckle even! I don't exactly where you are in Southern Illinois....but if you ever make it to St Louis I have the pool and privacy.....let it get late enough and dark enough....it's ALL YOURS! Thanks : That was so sweet of you to offer and WHO KNOWS?? Maybe I might just take you up on it sometime. I'm not too far from St. Louis. A lot of people around here go to St. Louis to the hospitals for specialized treatment. I live in a LITTLE town called New Burnside (population about 250). Know what you mean, Laurie. It is such a wonderful thing to float. Almost makes you want to stay fat :-). One of my favorite things to do is get in my son's pool at night, all alone in the dark, and float and look up at the stars. All is right with the world, then. W. i'm so jealous of your swimming ability, i've never been able to time my breathing so i could swim well, i go anaerobic so easily i end up gasping and I cant tell which direction i'm going! i'm a pretty sucky swimmer, ever after years of lessons. the nice thing about my being fat is that I float now! floating is a novelty for me, my bones & muscles were so dense when I was skinny, that i sank 2 inches under the water while floating! it took so much effort for me to stay afloat, that i just grabbed the kick board! now i can do a nice leislurely back float with light arm work to keep my face above water. laurie Check out AOL.com today. Guest guest
i am very christian too- and i believe our body is a temple- and we should honor it so- (and I am terrible at this- i abuse it ALL the time- ) but i think that allowing yourself such a splendid moment- in your own backyard and feeling the cool water holding you, caressing you as you look into a beautiful stary night - i think it's a beautiful way to thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed on us, including our bodies, no matter what size- (and it has taken me all my life to be able to say that) xxxsbrown857@... wrote: W: That sounds sooo wonderful - floating all alone in the dark looking up at the stars.I'm going to tell something that I would like to do. Guest guest
I never even thought of that, Shirley, but it would be wonderful. Alas, I swim in my son's pool and far too many people there to even consider it. Maybe I will have to save up and have my own pool. W.
