I have read articles on both sides of the microwave debate. Luckly, I

never made a habit out of using the microwave, so it was easy to stop.

Interesting story about microwaved vegetables...

My father gets an 18 hour headache when he ingests something that he

is allergic to. I remember when he took some B vitamins and developed

a headache. He knew that it was the vitamin because it was the only

thing he added to his diet. He could also tell me the exact moment

the headache would stop because the headaches would last a specific

time (I imagine it relates to the energy system in the meridians). To

fix his allergies he goes to a Bioset practitioner (similiar to

NAET).

Recently he had another headache, but he did not know what caused it.

So he told his Bioset practitioner what he ate for dinner. She tested

his response to all of the food - nothing showed up. She asked how

the food was prepared. He said that the vegetables where cooked in

the microwave. She tested again and concluded it was the microwaved

vegetables that his body had a reaction to. She treated him for

microwaved vegetables and his headache went away. I think he is not

too keen on eating food cooked in the microwave anymore.

> Sorry, I just have areally hard time believing people who are

honoring a traditional diet with traditional preparation techniques

are okay with using a microwave. Check out an article in the Price-

Pottennger Nutrition Foundation Journal on the effect of microwaves a

couple of issues ago. (www.price-pottenger.org) Great stuff in

their journals. Sure there are plenty of toxins and sources of

radiation everywhere but why willingly destroy your food when you

make such extravagant efforts to put good quality food in your body.

And by the way there are also better quality, full spectrum light

bulbs available if you want to work that angle as well. I am glad

microwaving is not okay with me!
