Guest guest
Help!. I am trying to activate the Russian starter and after the first 24 hours it looked like it had about an inch of bubbles on the top. But I thought I was supposed to feed it one more time, but I watched and never saw the bubble as much. Does that mean it is already activated and I can use it? Does the one to two inch activation only show once? Thanks for any insight. Carol
Guest guest
Hi Carol. I know this is a little late, but I am on vacation right now and just checking my mail. When I did my starter, I fed it and then let it sit for 12 hours. I then fed it 3 times the next day, and it was good to go. It should get bubbly after each feeding, right at around 3 hours. If you are not watching it right then, you may miss it. Look at the container it is in and see if there are 'tracks' where the starter bubbled up and then receeded. HTH, > Help!.
