Guest guest
I was wondering how many folks tackled yeast in the treatment of their child? does have a severe yeast issue and I think this will have to be addressed first before we can even figure out what types of suplements might work?? is that true? We are GFCF (still trying to fine tune it though) I have been reading tons about how you go about truely healing the gut. 's alergy panel, urnie metabolic and stool all show clearly that there is a huge yeast issue. Have folks gone on Nystatin? (I have read good and bad regarding this- that when you stop things can get worse??) In The Biological Treatments of Autism, there were several articles on the use of probiotics and Nystatin and the amounts of Nystatin varried GREATLY depending on the author. How do you get ALL sugar out of the diet? Is die off for real- for every kid? What might I want to prepare myself for? I also read that bad bacteria can form when you go on Nystatin. How do you stop that or treat it? With multiple food allergies do you have to get rid off ALL the offending foods or can you heal the gut while cutting GCS and use probiotics etc?? Thanks Amy
Guest guest
Hi Amy, We too suffer yeast issues and have found candigest plus (formerly known as candex) to be very effective. This is an enzyme which breaks down the yeast and is taken on an empty stomach am and evening. yeast treatments I was wondering how many folks tackled yeast in the treatment of their child? does have a severe yeast issue and I think this will have to be addressed first before we can even figure out what types of suplements might work?? is that true?
