Guest guest Posted April 3, 2006 Report Share Posted April 3, 2006 Hi Everyone Time has just gotten away from me, I've been doing so much work around the yard and in the house, then being laid up not able to move a few days, yes I should know better, but I am impatient. Finally the kitchen goes in next week, have finally got the tiles, this has been a marathon in itself, 3 lots picked out, only to find none of them in manufacture any more, just my luck. So I have chosen a 100mm by 100mm or 4 inch, off white tile, to be teamed up with a 12.5mm by 12.5mm, emerald green marble tile, 1/2 inch this will be placed as a listello border, mid way, as I will be having a separate range hood cooking area, I will be creating some feature, using tiles on a diagonal, with a border frame, have seen a few designs I may use, YES I will put up photos. All going well the outside of the house gets painted very soon, once I decide on a colour, well I have, but I do not know from which paint manufacturer it comes from, it is on a new function centre, in a Newcastle suburb, I went to see them asked them what colour it was painted, in no uncertain terms she told me, they paid a colour consultant, large amounts of money as they want their building unique. Well I hate to have to tell her, there is many a building the same colour, there is a church in Mayfield West is the same colour, maybe a church reverend may be a bit more forthcoming. If not I will get as many colour charts as possible, drive past one Sunday morning and just see if I can match the colour........ I don't think this will be against the law or upset the colour consultant, as I don't even need to go into the property, I can match standing on the footpath..... I am not sure if I told you, I started passing large amounts of blood in my urine about a fortnight ago, I finally had the ultrasound done yesterday, it appears that there are cysts throughout both my kidneys, so until I see my Dr, I am none the wiser myself, also I do not empty my bladder each time I go to the toilet, she would not tell me about the prostate gland, so I feel this may be the cause why I do not get rid of all the urine, The Joy Of Being Over 50... As usual with me running late, all the best to new bandees, anniversaries that I have missed, it is difficult for me to keep up some days, Hope our recent surgeries Mazz and Kel are blitzing them in the aisles, If you are starting your journey, slow and steady wins the race.......
