hi

i am 50 and have been in perimenoapuse /with all my hypot/AF drama/ for years

with Shorter/lighter cycles of 19-25 days. till end of march =which is the last

time i had a period.

===

so i got a new NP/doctor/gyn

did both saliva and Blood tess for E/p/t =on same day

=Estrogen/estradiol

= blood E is 77 (lab menopause = >10

but Saliva estrogen is LOW! (.8 where Postmeno = .5 - 1.7)

= Progesterone is now LOW on both Blood and Saliva

= Testosterones/ basically lower-half of-Normal range on blood

and Lowest_Normal on Saliva

===

for those in peri/menoapuse, did you get symptoms of low estrogen when your

blood estrogens are in 70s or 80s for example?

also i am Now having a bad skin reactions /inflammatino but also 'tearing' DRs

term (more like scratches when i saw it ) when using TP and/or Soap/washcloth in

that area! =tgat goes away when i Don't use those 2 things in that area..

DR tested swab culture under microcsope and said i have a yeast infection =

Tropicalus!

yet i have NO other symptoms of a yeast infection

===

so could the doctor be blaming the sensitivyt/irritaiton/tearing on a yeast

problem --when the Major problem is really LOW

Estrogen?/Testosteorne/Progesteron?/

thanks for any feeback

or ideas of what sites to read :)

i am not confident this Nice NP is as scientific as i need a doctor to be :)

(i don't care how many doctors say the sky is green ; i now demand proof :) AND

she is worried about having a Suppressed TSH /despte the fact i told her

abbott/sinthroid prsecribiing PDF states clearly we hashis etc SHOULD be dosed

to Pituitary TSH Superssion..
