Nice piece. I was wondfering if you meant " Ungrund " Tillich's revision of

Jakob Boehme's 'Abrund', as the 'Groundless Grouond of Being' ? Or, is there

some reference you can point me to in Tillich for this use of Urgrund? Not

sure if this is a typo, and not sure if I have missed something in Tillich,

so I'm not splitting hairs. Thanks,

Hello--Tillich talks of the Urgrund regarding his own thought

about the Universal Plenum, but he makes note of Boehme's

Ungrund which BTW is mentioned in the essay.

As for references, they are listed throughout the essay--

including page numbers, if you wish to check specifics.

That is why I like middle way writings of the Zen master Dogen, because he

writes to not shun the material. This I believe would lead to resolution in

time.
