I'm sorry I don't post much. Most days it's even too much to go on the

computer. Last year I posted a message that I was going to see a dr in CT

(where I live) and said I would let you know how it went. His name is Dr

Papernik and someone said they had gone to him when he was in their state. It

look a great deal of energy out of me to go to him because I was not in a good

place at the time for who knows what reasons. And the energy that it took to do

it put me in a very weak place.

I really like Dr Papernik. He is a very kind, caring and compassionate doctor.

I have CFS and most days I do not have a lot of pain for which I am very

thankful. I am also very sensitive to medication and he understood that. He

did a thorough exam and blood test and recommened a sleep study which I will

consider when I have recovered a bit more and the weather is better. He also

suggested having another MRI which I am not sure about at this moment. I think

that for anyone needing pain meds and anything else that you could take, he

would be very helpful. Dr Papernik has a website. His office is in Glastonbury.

It took me 3 months to get an appointment with him.

I hope this info is helpful if anyone is interested. I will try to be on the

Net when I can if anyone has any other questions. You could also e-mail me

personally but put CFS in the subject line.

Thank you all for being there for me. When I can, I come on the internet to

read how things are for all of you and it helps to know that I am not alone in

this struggle. It has now been eight and a half years since I became sick. I

thank God that I didn't know that I would still be sick this long. We can only

take it one day at a time anyhow - which I remind myself often.

Sending Hugs to all

Barbara B. in CT
