Guest guest
Hi all, I am 1 month post-op and finally doing fairly well. Had a very hard past 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago I came down with what we think was stomach flu. It was horrible and I ended up in the emergency room. They thought i had bacterial menegitus and after talking with the doctor in CO decided on their own to give me a spinal tap. They got me up with in minutes of doing the tap which caused a horrific spinal headache on top of the surgery headache. They sent us home. The day after I ended up in another ER after passing out from vomiting and headaches that medicine could not touch. As we got closer to the ER we were hit head on accident which included 5 vehicles. The truck that hit us ran a red light. When we finally made it to the ER my neck, head and back were burning so bad. My hands would curl up like atrophy when they took my blood pressure. Really weird. Cat scans showed no broken bones and we still have not been able to get a hold of the doctor who performed my decompression surgery. he is really busy. They did an MRI to determine if the plate was moved or any damage was done but we still do not know. I am home now and the headaches are better. I am really weak and with the complications I might have been set back a little. I think that for the most part and what I have been told is that I am doing really good for everything that has happened. The last few days have been really good. Anyway, I will continue to be here and help those that I can. Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Blessings, Joleen ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
