Guest guest
I wrote to Hannity Show about a " repeat " segment shown Saturday January 30, 2010. It was a one on one interview with Larry, the Cable Guy. I can't repeat it verbatim but went something like this, Hannity asks Larry how he has been and Larry goes into his skit, Not so good, I spent about $3,000.00 dollars, yup, they thought I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome but I found out I'm just lazy. To which Hannity had a good laugh. Now this was aired smack dab in the middle of the anger over misuse of the word " Retarded''. When I heard the indignation in Hannity's voice about that issue I thought it was time to write to him about this double standard. I had hope to hear something from the show with some acknowledgement but sadly there was no acknowledgement. So, I'm hoping that those of us who find this degrading will write and demand an apology. Someone very close to me said it's the comedians gig. I, personally find no humour in making fun of the desperately ill. Take out CFS and insert MS, MD or cancer would it then be acceptable? So please take a moment to write and tell him how you feel, enough letters may make them take notice. _http://www.hannity.com/contact_ (http://www.hannity.com/contact) Thank you
