Guest guest
Hi ri, I actually first used Smilax as a decoction because the patient I was treating couldn't take alcohol. But the effect was so good (and I still had a load) that I gave it in dry form to the next patient too - again with good effect. I don't see why it wouldn't work as a tincture - I'd give quite a big dose, though. love, Sara Psoriasis Many thanks to everyone for their help. It is much appreciated. One query......why smilax decoction rather then tincture? One of my patients returned Sat and she is much improved. the second comes next Friday. will keep you posted. sorry for not thanking everyone sooner but I installed an ISDN line and my e mail has gone faulty since.......have it some days and not on others. again many thanks ri
Guest guest
RE:I've go psoriasis that causes my head to flake like a snow-globe, and have noticed that DMSO+CS seems to dry up the patches somewhat, but would like to make them go away, any way I can.My husband had this. It went away completely when he started a gluten and dairy free diet.Mara

Guest guest
Hi Carol,It was OK. Not dramatically noteworthy, but OK.I think I may try straight emu oil and experiment with my own concoctions of known good things. The Psori-Care II cream was nice, but because of it's need to be shipped, it had propylene glycol in it, which I try to avoid in everything (hard to do) If I make my own gels, I won't need that ingredient. For a long time, I used a cream made by our local pharacist of just plain skin cream and finely ground gotu-cola. Like most psoriasis remedies, it attacked one part, making some improvements, and then another part came forward to fill the breach (sounds just like Lyme, no?) Most remedies work for a time and then don't.I've also used zinc ointment: same story. Wormwood; same story. Absorbine Jr.: same story. Now I'm thinking of making a 'kitchen-sink' compound of gotu-kola, powdered zinc, CS, DMSO, emu oil, and whatever else, a slap that on!For patches on knees, I've found that i can remove scales by rubbing packing tape on them and them yanking them off. Lots of repeats will bring skin down to the living layer without bleeding, usually, and then, whatever i apply, is already closer to the underlying cause. I've also found that agave fiber cloth is a gentle way to scrub off scales in bath.Be well,Léna yes lena i was thinking of you when i was in the waiting room at dr bonnie's this week... i foget what the book was called but it was all about gluten and the diseases it's tied to... they had a whole section on eczma, psoriasis, etc.... i agree gluten free (which is not easy...) how did the emu oil psori cream and emu oil soap work for you? carol > > > > > RE: > > > >> I've go psoriasis that causes my head to flake like a snow-globe, > >> and have noticed that DMSO+CS seems to dry up the patches > >> somewhat, but would like to make them go away, any way I can. > > > > My husband had this. Guest guest
Years ago, when I first heard of MSM, I took it because of psoriasis on my elbows. Cleared it up fairly quickly. Guess we need a sulpher supplement. Chuck If life deals you lemons, make lemonade; if it deals you tomatoes, make Bloody 's. But if it deals you a truckload of hand grenades ...now THAT'S a message! > I have been on MSM capsules for about a month now 1000 mg capsules 3x3 a > day 360 capsules Organika ...I open the capsules onto a spoon and into my > mouth ...My psoriasis dime spot of 12 years on my head seems to gone I > hope ...it drove me crazy sometimes...it states online that MSM will improve > this condition[image] > http://www.bodyandfitness.com/Information/Health/Research/MSM.htm > No virus found in this outgoing message.
