Guest guest
Hi Irina, THe maximum dose of Liver LIfe by weight for a child at 60 pounds would be 2 dropperfuls (each dropperful equals 26 drops), twice a day. My son is 92 pounds and has been taking 3 dropperfuls, twice a day for quite a while, but we did have to work up to that very slowly. And just to be clear, the maximum dose by weight does not mean that you have to give him that high of a dose. That just means that that is the highest dose you can give him. Many parents find that their child who would tolerate 2 dropperfuls does really well at 15 drops, twice a day. And so it's fine to keep it at that dose. You will most likely see the same benefits at 15 drops twice a day, that you would at 2 dropperfuls twice a day. IT would just take more time. When you first start taking the Liver LIfe, and you haven't been draining acids efficiently and/or your liver is congested, you can be very sensitive to the smaller doses. When I started LL, I got a cold, sore throat and a cough at 3-4 drops. ANd at that time, I was sure that I would never get to 3 dropperfuls. Nor did I want to. But once the symptoms went away and I ramped it up slowly to 1 dropperful, it felt like I just got better with the higher doses, so I was able to increase. Now for my son when we started, (before there was a protocol in place) we gave him 3-4 drops and he also got the coldlike symptoms, cough, runny nose. ANd when those symptoms went away, we ramped up the dose slowly, but not slow enough. So by the time we got him to 1 dropperful, he experienced a rash that covered his sides, his butt, under his arms, on his back. It looked similar to a heat rash but far more rough and red. To me, it looked like a viral rash. I took pictures of it because I had no clue what it was. Dr Ray (formulator of the products) said that if you are draining acids too fast for your kidneys and liver to excrete, the excess acids would come out through the skin (rash) or the lungs (coldlike symptoms). What happens when you have a chelator (natural or prescription) or antiviral on board, is that the acids will be excreted at a faster pace. So there are many factors that can influence your child's dose and tolerance. That's why it's recommended to ramp it up as tolerated rather than to just give a dose by weight. With your son if the cough is related to Liver Life, he may be getting too high of a dose. I would decrease it so that he doesn't experience rashes or coldlike symptoms. Activated charcoal is really helpful to help soak up the acids that he may be draining too fast. I'm really glad to hear that you've been seeing really good things for your son with the LL! That's awesome! My best, Tami > > I have a question to Tami. This is about Liver Life. what would be > the final dosage for 9-year old , 60- pound boy? I've been giving him > 3/4 dropper right now. Guest guest
Hi Lola, Liver Life is a restorative for the liver from BioRay. Liver Life helps to drain acids, restore a healthy ph, normalize liver enzymes, clear liver detox pathways I and II, and rebuild a healthy liver. You can go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BioRaynaturaldetox/ and read parent experiences. There's lots of info in the files including the protocols designed specifically for our asd kids. Hope this helps. Tami > > > > I have a question to Tami. This is about Liver Life. what would > be > > the final dosage for 9-year old , 60- pound boy?
