Guest guest
We are very new to all of this so I apologize if we ask questions that have already been answered. Our daughter Lilly is 3 months old and is having major pooping (or lack thereof) problems. Lilly has only pooped 5 times in her life without the help of a glycerin suppository. Our pediatrician is blowing us off saying that constipation is normal in baby's with down syndrome and that we should basically just get used to it. Every night that we help Lilly poop I end up crying (and so does she) and I just can't help but wonder if there is anything else we can be doing....there just has to be!! We have tried grape juice and apple juice with not much luck. Any suggestions at all would be GREATLY appreciated. By the way thank you for making us feel so welcome. Like I said earlier, we are very new to this and just looking for any support we can get. I will post pictures of Lilly later so you can see just how beautiful she is:)
