I just read 2 books.. i wanted to mention if anyone is interested..

I'm especially glad katie does her work in prisons and i know Mona

volunteers also.. thanks Mona, for that..

I just read They said WE'd NEver MAke It by TAmmi Menendez and i

highly recommend it.. I read it in 2 days and couldnt put the book

down.. Its very well written. She is married to Menendez whose

serving life in prison for killing his parents..( HE and his brother

Lyle were sexually abused by their father from 6 years old on.. )

The book can only be ordered from their website as it is self

published through a small company.. the way to order it is to go to

erikmenendez.com and then click tammi menendez

Most of the book is about Tammis past and also the prison system which

needs reform.

which made me so glad katie visits prisons..and i hope lyle and erik

have gotten a chance to meet her.. I dont know which prison they are

in.. they have been separated in different prisons for 10 years..

Also for those of you afraid of losing possessions I would recommend..

Peace Pilgrim HEr Life and Work in HEr Own Words.

Which was written by friends of hers after her death and is a

compliation of talks she had given.. ANd it is fascinating.. from 1953

till her death in 1981 she walked across america speaking about peace

and only owned the clothes on her back and a comb and a pen. by choice..

She would not accept money but did accept food and lodging The

longest she went with out a meal was 3 days.. and she slept wherever

she could.. once in a packing box so she wouldnt freeze..

She sounds a lot like KAtie and also had an awakening experience and

wrote that she never felt separate from anything.. She not only felt

the oneness of humanity but the oneness of everything.

And felt love for everyone as a child of God.

both are really good books Probably some of you have read them

already.. but if not i recommend them..

Tami.. Ritalin is an addictive drug..

And in my opinion should be banned.. but that is your business..

ITs ok i suppose if you dont mind being dependent on a pscyhiatrist

and a drug as it is addictive..the rest of your life.

They give it to lots of children.. which is really unfair because they

are not able to make a choice.. oh well..

ITs your business.. and your body.

What are you doing awake at 4:00 in the morning, ?

Thinking of me?

Any way, I loved your question .

My 2 cent worth would be:

Tell the story Tami is a liar, that way you wouldn't belive a word I say.

Have a beautiful day

LovetheworkofBK, come back, I cannot replace you, you are the real thing.

Now, with what quote would you end up this post?
