Guest guest
We have 2 questions, sort of.... 1) When doing an assessment we've been putting channel 2 leads on the right hemisphere, 1 on the left. Is this correct? Does it matter? (Because it seems like several maps show alpha increasing with EO and Task, so we wondered if we had something backwards.) 2) We'd also like some tips on artifacting. We look at elevated readings, comparing them to adjacent values, in order to determine if they are probable artifacts---but we're not sure how significant the difference needs to be. If adjacent values range, say, from 35 to 39, would a 44 probably be artifact, or would it need to be 50? (It's been 3 months since we had the training----we can see where we'll want to have some more!) --Ed Langham, Pete Duby, Dave Gaffney, MSWs all, Aleda E Lutz VA Medical Center PTSD Intensive Program 1500 Weiss Street Saginaw, MI 48602 Tel: ext. 3764 Fax: "The path is straight, the side roads so inviting."
