AIHA Prepares Aid for Haiti

AIHA expresses its

heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the earthquake that

devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010. AIHA is supporting the (U.S.) Department of

Health and Human Services efforts to coordinate donations of supplies

and volunteers with needed expertise. AIHA asks that any member who

wishes to donate supplies or expertise register at http://www.cidi.org. You will be contacted directly by the appropriate coordinating agency when needed.

It is expected that this

effort will take months at least so monetary support is also needed.

If you would like to provide monetary support, such funds are being

coordinated at http://www.interaction.org. In addition, AIHA will soon make a donation to appropriate relief agencies.
