3 week old girl with right side unilateral PMG in frontal and parietal lobes

Hi all, my wife and I are new to the group. An MRI just this week confirmed

that our daugther's seizures were caused by PMG on the right side in a

significant area in the frontal and parietal lobes.

Her neurologist told us that if we can control the seizures (using phenobarbital

now) that hopefully she will continue progress and develop. She is so young, I

pray that her brain is elastic enough to rewire itself.

Does anyone have any success stories they can share or be willing to share any

of their stories in a similar case? We are still trying to digest this

diagnosis and are hoping for the best.
