Guest guest
Hi Jan, I am getting acupuncture once a week for my chronic low back pain radiating to my right leg. The only benefit I've seen so far was after my last visit. I went in with muscle cramps in my right lumbar area plus a pain in my right side. When I walked out both were almost gone. My pain has never been worsened by the acupuncture but apart from that last visit it hasn't really helped. I am still going because I live in hope that it will help eventually, and I feel like I've tried almost every other avenue. I've got another 3 sessions booked - I'll let you know if they make any difference by the end. Take care, Di in Vancouver, B.C., Canada

Guest guest
, Thanks for the advice. She did comment that she felt as if she did too much to me for my first treatment and much like you, was trying to clear up some sinus/allergy stuff as well. It is just so hard to go back after that intital experience. I had to be out of work the next day becasue the pain was so bad and I felt like I couldn't move my entire torso. Perhaps I should give her the " 3 strikes you are out " rule on this one as a lot of you seem to think it can be helpful. Thanks, Jan Herring wrote: I used acupuncture for many years, till I was priced out of the market.
Guest guest
Di, Definitely keep me posted! I will be curious to see how your next 3 visits go, and I guess I have decided not to give up just yet myself. Thanks, Janis Diane wrote: I am getting acupuncture once a week for my chronic low back pain radiating to my right leg. The only benefit I've seen so far was after my last visit. Guest guest
hi, i have had about 5 sessions with a accupuncturist. i live in maine. just can't afford to keep going. insurance does not pay anything towards it. i think it was helping a little. i just wanted tyo say i was taking lipitor for cholestral. for anyone who has muscle pain with fibromylagia it can cause leg pains and more muscle pain.
