Flying Saucers Over North Texas

Hi, All!

The saucers will be flying over North Texas, along with the cups, plates and bowls!

We will be having a meeting for the North Texas Thyroid Groups on Monday, October 25 at 7:00 pm. It will tenetively be at the ST Cafe at Skillman and Audelia in Dallas. I say "tenetive" because they normally close at 8:00pm on Monday nights. I need to check and see if we can stay until 9:00pm. This has not been a problem in the past. Stay tuned for further notices.

RSVP to me at texasthyroid@... . Send me your real first and last name and a phone number where you can be reached in case of last minute changes.

We mainly just eat dinner and share, but you are also welcome to bring your labs and ask questions.

Bring your husband, bring your boyfriend, but please do not bring them both to the same meeting. We do not want any trouble. Bring your hypo sister. Bring your mother who is in hypo denial. Just remember to bring a sweater for her.

Bring your half-bald neighbor, you know. . . . .the one who goes out to get the newspaper in her bathrobe. . . . . at the crack of noon.

Bring your hyper niece, but please stop at a pub along the way and buy her a couple of stiff drinks so she will not be bouncing off the ceiling.

Just don't invite the Aliens. They are no fun. All they do is complain about the food being cold and just lying motionless on the plate.

And please do not bring any small children. Yup. The Aliens may just show up if they think they will be served delicacies. . . . . .
