Using 70 percnt " Power " Vs, Too Much " Power "

The Bullworker manual stresses exerting only 70 percent " power " when

exercising.

This is something that had escaped me until my last round of

exercisies.

The manual states that if your arms and legs are trembling or shaking

then you are using too much power.

So last night while " working out " with the Bullworker, I noticed

that I was feeling a little light headed, and I finally realized that

I had probably been exerting too much " power " in my exercises.

This " over-exertion " had also been the cause of some " soreness " and

discomfort after the exercises, which I had shrugged off as part of

the process of bodybuilding and muscle-growth.

I was pushing myself too hard during the exercises to the point where

my arms and legs were actually trembling.

I then " backed off " on the exertion until the trembling and light-

headedness stopped.

Looking at the power meter I noticed that I was actually using

approx. a third to 30 percent less power.

This resulted in a smoother more relaxed workout without any

soreness, light-headedness, or feeling of increased " blood pressure " .

Hmmm... perhaps most of the reported " problems " and injuries from

using the Bullworker that I've heard about are actually a result of

abusing the Bullworker by using too much power and force when doing

the exercises.

I can now see and understand the benefits & logic of using less power

during my Bullworker sessions.

With less exertion there is more control, thus less risk of injury.

Less muscle tissue is " damaged " during the exercises, and thus takes

less time to heal and rebuild, hence a smoother and more consistant

muscle growth... " Slower is faster " .

Any comments?
