Well I have been on the prednisone for 8 days. I started with 4

pills for 3 days, 3 pills for 3 days etc. I have 2 days left.

Within 24 hours I no longer had any fevers or chills and within 48

hours all my lumps and pain were gone. I will update you after I

discontinue the prednisone to see If I have any flare ups.

A word of caution to those using prednisone. It is a great drug for

short term use. Long term use is risky. There are so many side

effects.

My appt with the rhuemtolgoist was cancelled because by the time I

could get my appt. all my symptoms were gone. It may be that I do

have another underlying disease ( or rather) some other blood issue

going on that may have caused the EN to begin with. I just finished

my fourth round of blood tests and wont have my results until next

week. This is all so scarrrrry.

I have 2 years to retirement and we have all these plans. I have no

desire to ruin my husbands plans with some illness. He has worked

so hard for so many years. We have saved and planned for a great

retriement.

I have begun seeing a wholistic (sp?) Dr. and will I am starting a

new diet cleaning out all the junk and starting some vitamins and

herbs to flush my system.

I will let you know the results of that. Thanks so much for having

this group so I have a place to vent and write. I so do not want to

stress out my husband. He is the nicest guy in the world and

worries so much about me. Anyway. Good luck to all and I will
