A medical term question.

Hello friends.

I have not gotton back my MRI results yet! But I do have a copy of

the MRI'S after takin for my copies.. I pretty much can make out

some things but not everything!!! In relations to pg.. Fist off my

spine is full of arthritis inside and outside. Looks like spinal

stenosis with the narrowing.. But there is one unusual thing that

sticks out like a sore thumb on the MRI.. It is not coming out of my

spine but pressing into my spine from where I don't know! It looks

like a huge jagged peice of something. as if you were to point a gun

let's say, that exact position. What ever it is,maybe a spur I don't

know, the point of it is pressing right into the arthritis on the

outside of my spine. Maybe it's coming from my neck I don't know but

it sticks out like a sore thumb!

Getting back to the medical term question.. Does anybody know what

Atrophy of the scalp means????? If it has something to do with the

cervical area I am wondering compression and arthritis= PG... 2 drs

said no! The dematologist said it's possible if I have PG there can

be compression causing the PG.. Should I believe him??
