Zoo Atlanta recommendations needed

I'm planning on taking my son to the zoo this week and was wondering

if anyone had any good suggestions for what to avoid or what are the

best exhibits. my son is 3 1/2 years old and is mild to moderately

autistic. He's basically non-verbal, but does comprehend a fair

amount. My main concern is his safety as he likes to run around,

treating places like a mall (or the zoo) like one big playground.

Any suggestions?
