That sounds different from the evil Mr. Scale.

Usually if you weigh yourself in the AM, you weigh

less than in the PM. Seems like body fat would be the

same. Maybe it's something with the muscles settling

or something?!?!! I don't know--obviously :o)!!!! I

need to start monitoring my body fat too. I keep

forgetting to do it and I bought my Tanita like 3

months back :o)!!!!!!!

She had a bunch of Stay-At-Home Dads on. They

sacrificed their careers (one was a pro PGA Trainer)

to raise the kids. Most of the cases the women were

able to make more money. One of the families has a

physically challenged son and the Dad has back

problems, so I don't think he was able to really work

alot anyway. So whenever he has to take their son out

he not only has to lift up his 100 pounds, but also

the wheel chair. One family had quintuplets (they're

one now) and he not only does he take care of them

all, he also has the house all clean, laundry done and

dinner ready by the time his wife gets home. They got

gifts like minivans, a trip to Pebble Beach to golf,

massages (the dad with the bad back), etc.

They had a segment on a support group for the SAHD's,

one tried to join the SAHM's, but they weren't ready

for men yet.

I'm going to try to start remembering to weigh when I

get home from work. Everytime I think about it, it's

evening time and I've done my workout. Then I don't

want to wait for the water to replenish itself for

hopefully a more accurate reading.

You know, I think it's neat that guys do this and that Oprah honors them, and I

know that she does the same for moms, but for heavens sake, this is what a

number of women do on a daily basis and they don't get the public recognition.

Gets me a little ticked off so I don't watch.

That's societies fault. We EXPECT women to do this,

it's their " job " . Not that it's not a man's " job " to

help nurture and take care of the kids, but I think

that because there are so many men who don't do what

women see as their fare share, a big deal is made when

a man DOES help take care of the kids. I think that

the specific situations in these cases are what made

it special. It wasn't a the men were lazy and didn't

want to work type situation.

Sandie, Tae and Bo who normally doesn't cry at these

things, but has been very emotional (not the " visitor "

reason) for quite a while :o)!!!!!!
