Hi all

I don't post very often, but am a dedicated reader !!! I was

banded on Sept 14 and to date have lost 11 kg. I am of course

delighted with that, but do realise that on the grand scale of

things , it is a fairly slow loss. I have a fairly good

restriction, and can not eat the normal - steak, chicken , bread and

sometimes chips, etc.. However if I eat slowly (with the other foods

eg seafood) I can still eat quite

an amount before I feel full. My husband and I went on a lunch

cruise at the weekend with a seafood buffet lunch. Seafood is my

new best friend and as long as I eat it slowly I am fine. I managed

to put away far more than I feel I should have. However on most

other meals which I have eaten out on, over the holiday period, I

have got a blockage really quickly and could eat hardly anthing. My

husband is the only person who knows I have been banded so I am

tending to avoid all social outings as the excuses for the toilet

visits are running out.

Sorry that was a bit long , but the point is I am booked for another

fill on Feb 6th and am not sure if I should go or not. Is it a case

of me being more aware of smaller bites, more chewing etc or do you

think I have enough fill for a while. I would of course like to

speed up my weight loss but really hate the PBing.

I will be coming on Sunday for lunch so will maybe get some help

there. Sorry this is a bit long and waffling!!

Hope to see most of you on Sunday

Hugs

Raewyn
